This Darjeeling Tea, graded as a Broken Pekoe Souchong (BPS), comes from the Sungma Tea Estate. Many of the gardens of this estate, situated in the Rung Bong Valley of the Darjeeling district, are certified organic. This means that Teas to have grown in these gardens are free from synthetic fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides.With altitudes between 1,400 and 2,400 metres, and Tea-growing land spread out across 281 hectares, Sungma Tea Estate has become synonymous with quality. Our Darjeeling Tea Sungma Broken Pekoe Souchong, in particular, is one of their finest creations. Its leaves are tight and curly with portions of green. When brewed, it has a strong flavour with traditional muscatel notes. We pack it fresh to order here at our Kent-based factory.
