This 2019 season, we chose Darjeeling First Flush Tea Rohini 2019 for several reasons. It has a large, light green leaf with plenty of tip, producing a bright amber liquor when brewed. Upon the first sip, it boasts a distinct vegetal flavour with a slight sweetness.It's also worth noting that it comes from Rohini, one of the youngest yet most outstanding Tea Estates of the district. Such is its prestige that we also selected another Tea from this Estate, Darjeeling Rohini White Tea. When it comes to traditional Darjeeling Black Teas, however, you'll be hard pressed to find a better brew than Darjeeling First Flush Rohini Delight 2019.
